Bentley Tibbs is an award-winning residential architect based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in modern architecture, custom homes, and refined renovations. With over three decades of experience, his work spans modern homes in Dallas, contemporary ranch houses in East Texas, and bespoke residences in New York City, including Manhattan and Brooklyn.
He has completed more than 50 ground-up homes and an equal number of renovations, each shaped by a highly personal, client-driven process. Bentley approaches architecture as a conversation. Every project begins with understanding how his clients live, what they value, and what they want their home to hold. From there, he designs spaces that are intentional, enduring, and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.
While rooted in modernism, Bentley’s work is known for its warmth and depth. He moves away from stark minimalism, instead layering materials, light, and proportion to create homes that feel both elevated and lived in. His approach has earned recognition in publications including D Home and has positioned him as a leading modern architect in Dallas and beyond.
Bentley continues to expand his practice across Texas and into New York, working on projects ranging from large-scale modern ranch homes to urban townhouse and apartment renovations. We begin the art curation process early, integrating it into the architectural design so that walls, proportions, and sightlines are informed by what they will one day hold. From there, we collaborate with galleries and artists to select and install pieces that feel inevitable .
Architecture doesn’t stop at walls, roofs, and structure — it lives in how you occupy it. The art and objects you choose help define mood, intent, and movement through space.
