This 6,200-square-foot home in Old Preston Hollow is solidly grounded and light as air. The Homeowners sought spaces that would calm and lift—an architecture of quiet clarity. Natural light guides the experience throughout, while brick, wood, and steel move seamlessly from exterior to interior, creating a continuous and tactile sense of place. 

The building’s massing furthers the idea of lift—rooflines, balconies, and a vertical stair tower give the structure a sense of poised elevation, avoiding heaviness without sacrificing presence. Designed for dog lovers, the house includes floor-level windows for shared views, resilient yet beautiful flooring, and integrated spaces for kenneling and bathing—solutions that feel natural, not forced.
