University Park Renovation

Architectural Design Highlights

In reworking Bud Oglesby’s modernist residence in University Park, the directive was clear: don’t disrupt the essence. Instead, the renovation focused on the entry, kitchen, and primary suite—spaces updated to support modern living while honoring the original language.

Rift-cut white oak, used in both the entry and powder bath, signals warmth and continuity. The kitchen was simplified and opened to the breakfast area, enabling natural light and art to breathe. The bath, once a porch, now glows with light and careful mirror placement, offering privacy without compromise.
